1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FindUrDuo ("the Service", "the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

To use FindUrDuo, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration

3. Account Registration

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You may not create an account for anyone other than yourself without permission. You may not transfer your account to another person.

4. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Post offensive, discriminatory, or hateful content
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Share explicit, violent, or illegal content
• Use the Service for commercial solicitation without permission
• Spam, scam, or defraud other users
• Attempt to access another user's account
• Use bots, scripts, or automated systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Collect user data without consent

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of content you post (profile information, messages, photos). By posting content, you grant FindUrDuo a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute your content as necessary to provide the Service.

Our Content: The FindUrDuo name, logo, design, and all related trademarks, service marks, and intellectual property are owned by FindUrDuo. You may not use our branding without permission.

6. Matching and Communication

FindUrDuo provides a platform for gamers to connect. We do not:

• Screen or verify user profiles (beyond age verification)
• Guarantee matches or successful connections
• Monitor private conversations (except for reported violations)
• Take responsibility for user interactions or relationships

Safety: Always exercise caution when meeting someone online. Never share financial information or send money to other users.

7. Spawn In Forum - Paid Subscription Service

7.1 Subscription Plans

Access to the Spawn In Forum requires a paid subscription. Available plans:

• Monthly Plan: $2.99 per month, billed monthly
• Yearly Plan: $25.00 per year, billed annually

Subscriptions grant access to create posts, comment, vote, and engage with the forum community.

7.2 Billing and Auto-Renewal

• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period
• You will be charged the then-current subscription rate
• Payment is processed through PayPal
• You must cancel before the renewal date to avoid being charged

7.3 Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your PayPal account
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• You retain access until the subscription expires
• No refunds for partial months or early cancellation
• Exceptions may be made at our discretion for technical issues

7.4 Forum Content Rules

When using the Spawn In Forum, you agree to:

• Post only gaming-related content
• Not spam or post duplicate content
• Not engage in vote manipulation
• Use appropriate game tags
• Respect other users' opinions and posts
• Not post misleading or false information

7.5 User-Generated Content

7.6 Voting and Reporting

• Upvote/downvote system is for community curation
• Vote manipulation or brigading is prohibited
• False or malicious reports may result in account suspension
• Reported content will be reviewed by moderators

7.7 Subscription Termination

We may suspend or terminate your forum subscription if you:

• Violate forum rules repeatedly
• Engage in harassment or abusive behavior
• Post illegal or harmful content
• Attempt to manipulate the voting system

Termination due to violations will not result in refunds.

8. Forum Moderation & Administration

8.1 Moderator Roles

FindUrDuo employs moderators and administrators to maintain forum quality and enforce community standards. Moderators have the authority to:

• Review and remove content that violates these Terms
• Pin important posts to increase visibility
• Ban users from the forum for violations
• Respond to user reports and resolve disputes
• Take immediate action on harmful or illegal content

8.2 Content Removal

Moderators may remove content that:

• Violates our community guidelines
• Contains harassment, hate speech, or threats
• Includes illegal or harmful material
• Is spam or promotional without permission
• Violates intellectual property rights

Content removal is at moderator discretion and is typically immediate without prior notice.

8.3 User Banning

8.4 Appeals Process

If you believe a moderation action was taken in error, you may appeal by contacting us at findurduo@gmail.com within 7 days. Include:

• Your account information
• Description of the moderation action
• Reason you believe the action was incorrect

Appeals are reviewed within 5 business days. Our decision on appeals is final.

9. Notifications & Communications

9.1 Email Notifications

By using FindUrDuo, you consent to receive email notifications for:

• New matches with other users
• Password reset requests
• Account deletion confirmations
• Important service updates
• Subscription-related information

9.2 Push Notifications

If you grant permission, we may send browser push notifications for:

• New matches and messages
• Forum activity (if subscribed)
• Real-time updates

You can disable push notifications at any time through your browser settings. We store notification subscription data to deliver these alerts.

9.3 Opt-Out

You may opt out of non-essential communications through your account settings. However, we will continue to send transactional emails (password resets, legal notices) as required for service operation.

10. Account Deletion & Data Retention

10.1 In-App Deletion

You can delete your account at any time through your Profile page. Account deletion is permanent and includes:

• Your profile and personal information
• All matches and chat history
• Forum posts and comments
• Subscription data

10.2 Out-of-App Deletion Requests

If you cannot access your account, you may request deletion by:

• Visiting our deletion request form at /delete-account
• Emailing findurduo@gmail.com

10.3 Data Retention After Deletion

After account deletion, we may retain certain data for legal compliance, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution:

• Transaction records (7 years for tax purposes)
• Ban records and moderation logs (indefinitely)
• Backup data (up to 90 days until purged)

Anonymized data may be retained for analytics and service improvement.

11. Payment Processing

Payments for the Spawn In Forum subscription are processed by PayPal. By subscribing, you agree to:

• PayPal's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
• Provide accurate payment information
• Maintain sufficient funds for recurring charges
• Notify us of any billing disputes within 30 days

Failed Payments: If a payment fails, your subscription access may be suspended until payment is resolved. Multiple failed payments may result in cancellation.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account if:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• We receive valid legal requests
• We discontinue the Service

You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
